Roger HooverHere’s another photo that my good friend and legendary grouse hunting icon Roger Hoover just sent from the Florida  Keys.  Roger said he practices catch and eat, not release, like on the little Juanita River.  Anyone who has been around him has learned that Roger knows how to enjoy life.  He spent his life in the woods and on the water.  Training bird dogs, judging bird dog trials, guiding grouse and woodcock hunts and fly fisherman for our wild brown and brook trout.  If you haven’t met this guy yet, and a lot of you reading this probably already have, you should hunt him up.  A day with roger Hoover is a always a great day!

Buck, legendary is a big word maybe to you and my grand kids. No grouse in the Keys but lots of fish. May was a great month down here, coming down again for January you have an open invite. Catch and filet is the name of the game down here.
John the filets never left the state of Flordia.

Hopefully they make it here and we could have an LCS Fish Fry! I would love to try it!
