kenneloutsideFinally! I got a new home for my bird dogs, a six hole hunting truck and all the stuff a dog man gathers over the years and lots of “dancing” room. Nothing like puppies from your old birdogs to make you feel connected to your past . This would be the 6 th generation of Setters directly from my first Setter – Buck’s Electric Tina (I named her after my favorite female vocalist back then , Tina Turner… Yes, we had an Ike too!) My classy young speed bitch, which is a full sister to Dick Brennemans Champion JEB, is due to come in heat mid – February. Her very limited cracklin’  tail speed pedigree bred to my personal cover dog Deuce (he’s out of Champion Grouse Ridge Reroy and Lion Country’s Duchess) should make for some dandy pups! Roy Sissler always told me that “Good bird dogs come from families of bird dogs” and these 2 dogs have got some special family! You never know when you’ll hit a “nic”.. I’ll give one puppy away right here on my blog IF they fall in lust. Probably give the rest to my buddies. Keep two… don’t count your puppies before they come!

Good luck with the expected litter. Nothing like a new pup to make you look forward to the next season. This one isn’t over and I’m already planning next years trip!

Buck, I have a 30 x 50 kennel similar to what you have with 7 runs on one end. I designed a flush system for my runs that works great. If it not to late, I would be happy to share info and pics. I also have been raising Setters since 1981 and Labs since 2000.

Definitely don’t count pups yet . I repeated Jeb and Speeds litter 3 times. Merry Christmas to U and the awsume staff.
